  2. swords983 says:

@Graymoths Agreed. but i am nowhere as biased as the lady in this video =0

  3. Graymoths says:

@kmurdaya I don’t think there is a general survey conducted in those countries.

  4. Graymoths says:

@swords983 That’s a very biased statement. It is really up to the individuals. However, when they condust those surveys, they usually look at the majority or a pattern within the statistics. So, I don’t believe that they are healthy in every (or most) factor(s), they just have a better lifestyle as compared to others. And this lifestyle can be easily replicated by any other non-Japanese.

  5. Graymoths says:

I think most East Asian cuisines are healthy. I mean, it isn’t only the Japanese who have a healthy cuisine. Many other East Asian countries also have a high life expectancy rate.

Like Hong Kong for example, the average Hong Kong male lives longer (by four years) than a Japanese male, and the average Japanese female lives longer than a Hong Kong female by six months. There’s an element of culture involved. Just a thought. (:

  6. swords983 says:

Japanese are healthy in every factor except…….. their teeth. In Japan most people do not take care of their teeth and crooked teeth are common.
Another thing is that im scared that a lot of people think every American is obese or eats fast food everyday. i eat fast food once a month if that!

  7. kmurdaya says:

I thought the lowest obesity would be in a starving country like North Korea or Somalia or something.

  12. Willson0908 says:

…. all we have in america is fast food…not like japan they actually make ther own food but with less calories than american with more meat and more meat and more meat… not fish( SUSHI)
With America, we have hamburgers, hotdogs, steak, BBQ ribs in all restaurant and mostly mac Donald( i f***ing hate mac donald or wat ever its called….
I wish i live in Japan and studied ther.. and i rather have a cute japanese women who will love me than america who would divorce

  13. kocky13 says:

@qwecars “yeah and how many dictators does a country have??? ONE!”

-Don’t forget a Dictator’s appointed staff, advisors, chairmen, dukes, prime minister, secret police, subsidized C.E.O.’s, favored government positions, chosen Generals,…sometimes union/interest group/party leaders…

you make a good point though, so how rich does a country have to be before it’s counted in with those statistics you told me about in your first comment?

  14. sexlover144 says:

whats so ironic is… that I live in America…before I met my mom i was living with my grandparents and all we ate was fish, vegetables, and fruit. After I met my mom I gained weight, and to this day i don’t like it. Thanks for convincing me to kick my moms butt, and start buy my own groceries, and cook for myself.

  15. theusualcomment says:

japanese are the most prolific smokers on earth. i should pick that up.

  16. russia19941 says:

  17. CompanionCubie says:

I took notes. Thank you. :D

  18. Echan312 says:

American diet sucks D: my family eats healthy we eat lots of vegies and fruit and CERTAIN types of meat,i love fish and chicken anything else is BLEEEGGG.

  19. qwecars says:

@kocky13 yeah and how many dictators does a country have??? ONE! I am talking about a group of people not one ruler! Ofcourse there will ALWAYS be someone who doesn’t fit the profile of a typical citizen of a starving country!

  20. HaNaBiUcHiHa92 says:

    @Mog087 I completely agree.

  21. xxConverse101xx says:

Most schools replace sugar and corn syrup with artificial sweeteners nowadays.(aspartame, sucralose)These chemicals actually cause cancer and do more harm than real sugar.

  22. kocky13 says:

@qwecars the richest people in starving countries are usually dictators who eat meals that are imported from other countries and never have to worry about starving.

Hugo Chavez eats plentifully. Ahmadinejad of Iran is well fed too. and don’t forget
Kim jong il of North Korea.
North Korea has had reports of spreading cannibalism

  23. kurtkhaos says:

There’s so much talk about how bad sugar is in American diets. Even the word has been removed from product brand-names since the 1970s. Fact is, most sweeteners and similar additives in our food are derived solely from Corn Syrup. Have you ever looked at the ingredients (Nutrition Facts label in America)? Chances are, sugar is not mentioned. Sugar in moderation is much healthier than Government subsidised corn products, which seem to be in everything!! Real Coca-Cola doesn’t make you fat.

  24. qwecars says:

@fukumimisohoni who the hell are you callin a monkey???

  25. qwecars says:

@kocky13 No, because the richest of the people in starving Countries get very little food but the food is very bad for you, overdosed with fats & sugars to make them feel full. They fill themselves up with garbage and become obese. The people who don’t get ANY food don’t live long enough to even be included in the statistics.
