molassesandcelery.blogspot.com So what’s it really like to have ADHD? What is ADHD? And does it really exist? A lot of people assume I’m anti-drug therapy. This is not true. What I’m against is hasty prescriptions without trying other alternatives. I believe drug therapy should come later in the list of options. But everyone is different and the simple fact of the matter is, prescription drugs do work for many people. Just make sure you’re making an informed decision when you turn to meds.

You should not joke about ADHD is not fun
ADD and ADHD hinder brain development. You’re a step above the r.
Just sayin’ , yo.
this video is spot on. I can totally relate to everything you say… and I wish I didn’t. space cadet for life. for the people that don’t think ADHD is real, thank your little stars you don’t have to deal with it every minute of everyday.
@felix242 well, it could be a medical problem. But I see what you are saying and it makes sense. At least I think I do, first step: change diet? The symptoms probably do originate in the brain but the UNDERLYING cause, may not. And searching for the cause in the brain could be therefore futile. However, most causes I can think of could be solved with diet, maybe even mercury toxicity(detox diet).
@apocalist420 to respond to ur thoughts based on Dr. Hyman… if ADHD does not originate in the brain then that means it’s not a psychiatric problem. If it is caused by imbalances within the body such as from low-grade food sensativities I wouldnt say it’s a medical problem. As mentioned b4 in the analogy, that only indicates there’s a different physiology. Otherwise it’s like saying “I dont function well on bad food; so I have a medical problem”.
@apocalist420 A good analogy to illustrate ‘low-grade food sensativities” between ADD and non-ADD are vehicles. Some vehicles like 18 wheelers run on diesal which is a “cheaper” (less refined) form of petroleum. Some vehicles like Ferraris MUST be fueled with high octane gas to run properly. This is very much the case with ADDers. Like a performance car, ADD people need the right fuel to run properly. They cant run on cheap fuel. With the right fuel they can perform as they’re suppose to.
man its like looking in a mirror w00p go adhd!!
Everybody experiences ADD(HD) in different ways and different symptoms ranging from extremely mild to very severe I will say though 1:58 to 2:32 is so true and funny!
I am not doctor I just have experience which is probably better then most doctors knowledge.
@picklesloveslight Yes, that is definately ONE possible cause of ADHD, which is just an effect, IMO. There is many others.
@felix242 Correct, and there are also associations between adhd and depression. Of course, my opinions of adhd are mostly subjective. However, after reading The Ultramind solution by Dr. Mark Hyman I am inclined to think that ADHD does not ORIGINATE in the brain. According to him and his research, symptoms can be caused by imbalances within the body, such as low-grade food sensativities. In which case, ADD is the result of a medical problem which needs to be addressed.
@apocalist420 good points and I have considered those.
If I have it right, it seems what u r conveying is that ADD is strictly a disability in the explicit sense of the word. For instance, what if those successful ADD people didnt have ADD…would they be even more successful? I would say no but I can’t be conclusive about anything. One thing I know: ADD symptoms of incessant thoughts, divergent thinking, and hyperfocus can be very useful in certain areas.
I’m an adult with ADHD. I wasn’t diagnosed or treated until I was attending college as a single parent in my thirties. After being assessed at a learning center and finally treated with ritilan, I went from a struggling C student to an A student, I was shocked at my newfound ability to focus through an entire class and an ability to focus enough to complete homework.
lol …. adhd symptoms are very similar to mercury poison symptoms .. mercury contained in vaccines, which kids get way to many of now of days. Autism has also increased so much that it is very disturbing.
One man proved this but the governement refused to even listen to the results of this reputable research worker.
Big pharma creates diseases so that they can make money on the cures. Even former employees like of Eli Lilly (strattera makers) claim this.
Please stop blaming the wrong people
@felix242 how can you prove that their success is attributed to ADD. How do you explain those with ADD who are not successful and are completely incoherent, which is a hundredfold more then a few dozen successess. And how do you know their outcome would not be the same if they did not have ADD. These are things to think about.
Read the ultramind solution. ADHD, is not a step in evolution, it is a symptom. Of course, I did not go to medical school, yet, but if you you follow the DIET plan in the Ultramind solution I assure you, you will see results, as did I.
DUDE THAT IS SO ME!!! i have ADHD to!
@MikeSkullman I wasn’t meaning to offend you, looked it up and yes in some cases this side effects seem to occur.
@0youwannagethigh0 Thank you for gracing us with your opinion Doctor. Which medical school did you attend again?
It’s funny and eaven reconiseable, except the part of the shaking from rilatin, and espaccially the addictive part. Thats just bulshit.
LOL I have adhd and I think this videos great!
i like you!
@FunTrollin The world’s greatest innovators and entrepreneurs have ADD traits…like Richard Branson, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein and maybe Bill Gates. ALL of these men were never given a chance by the non-ADD standpoint.
If ADD were the majority non-ADD people would have a hard time finding good jobs. This is just a world with more non-ADD people so it’s more suited to them. BTW I have ADD and I’m an engineer.
i have this thing so bad. i was diagnosed when i was 5 but started to take medicine last year. heres an example: once my firends were talking about how one of my friends ha depression issues and i say this in the iddle of our conversation which i wasnt really contributing in: “holy crap look at that squirell its climbing on that fence” and there like go to hell!
the fukk is this
